Arrowhead Deck and Pool resurfaced our patio and around our pool. We had heard that Arrowhead Deck and Pools had over 25 years of experience with ground resurfacing, both commercial and residential, so we decided to go with them. The salesperson came out quickly and provided a look at many different jobs that Arrowhead Deck and Pools had done to give us a good idea of what our options were. We chose a high-quality travertine stone: the “Desert Wood” style. We paid our half down and they scheduled the work to start within 3 to 4 weeks. Delivery was as scheduled. Work started 2 days later. I had to call and ask when the work would start. The work was messy, but that is to be expected. They had to saw the stone to shape it, which created lots of dust. Arrowhead Deck and Pool had a professional cleaning service come out and clean the yard and drain, clean and refill the pool. They just showed up. The cleaning service started draining in the yard, but I stopped them, because I did not want my yard flooded, and had them bring hosing around to the front and drain into the sewer, which worked fine, and the cleaning service had all the necessary equipment, so there was no time lost. Work progressed very quickly, you will see a lot of progress each day until completion. Any time I came outside to ask the team to pay attention to something, they were courteous and had a can-do attitude. With the exception of a few imperfections, the job looked very nice. The team came out to touch up the imperfections, and do a little extra work that was not originally quoted (tile around the back of the pool that was raised off the ground, and was showing the old “cool deck like” surface). The patio and pool are transformed, and my wife and I are quite happy with the result. The Desert Wood stone is beautiful. Arrowhead Deck and Pools saved me some money by determining that drainage did not require a special drain, but that the grading drained water well enough that the special drain was not required, so it was very nice that the amount due at the end was reduced from the original quote! Thanks to the owner, John, for coming out personally to look at the work before scheduling the touch-ups, and to collect the final payment after everything was complete. John’s a great guy–very friendly and fair. It was a pleasure working with him. While it’s difficult to get everything perfect the first time, Arrowhead Deck and Pools, lets you know that if you want to have them come back for touch-ups, they will do that and they don’t complain or try to charge more. They are very good at making things right. Because of that, 5 stars is appropriate. I would recommend Arrowhead Deck and Pools for resurfacing your yard or business property.
